It Was A Water Leak

A tenant told me about a wet spot in the driveway a month ago, I was not concerned nor was the tenant because there wasn`t an increase in the bill.
But I hate to leave anything no done, especially with water.
Today I went to the rental, got the help and we dug a trench across the driveway and found that leak, it was just a drip so it was an easy fix.
I will say, that the water/mud was stagnated and really stunk.
While working there one of the elderly ladies came over and told me I had to sign a paper for direct t.v. I told her no they had to mount it in a pole not on the roof, no one mounts them on the roof anymore! That is crazy.
I may have guest from Florida, running from the hurricane.

They must have been sued and have to have the owners permission to mount on the roof.

@andriaperry When the leakage is very small it's hard to notice, the water is not expensive here.

I knew there was one, but it was very slow, so light that the bill was the same and the meter was not running.

I am feeling a little better today after all yesterday spent in rest. Recovering from food poisoning will take some time and I have rest as the main agenda today.
Good that you found the cause of leak and could fix it. Enjoy your time with your guests from Florida.

I know how you feel I had food poisoning when I was a kid, almost killed me, took me 2 weeks just to b able to walk around normal again.

Sometimes its like that with rentals, the same thing will be messed up at a couple or more of them, its strange but happens.

It's good that you got that little leak fixed before it turned into a huge problem.
That hurricane looks like it's going to be nasty. Your guests are smart to leave before it hits.

I'm glad the leak was an easy fix. I haven't seen the weather, so didn't know about another hurricane. Enjoy your visit with your friend if they arrive.
I'm hoping today will be better than yesterday, though yesterday was good in most ways, just not with my BP.

We have also problem of water leakage in our home.. The walls are absorbing water.. The plumbers here work haphazardly to get future income

It was a slow, rainy day in Oregon. I worked on my record collection and played ping pong, then fixed dinner since Anne is striving to make a deadline for a quilt show and the art quilt she is making is quite difficult.
