Positive attitude

I've often heard of older people telling a relative whose car may have broken down this line : "It's far better that it's your car that broke down and not you who got seriously sick". Another line said to a family whose house is razed to the ground would be like this: "Losing your house or property is not that bad. It can be replaced and money could be earned again. Losing your life is a disaster as it is irreplaceable.".
I also have a couple friend who engage in feeding street children two times in a week. There is a mendicancy ordinance in the city which prohibits people from giving to beggars as these beggars should be referred to the DSWD (Department of Social Welfare & Development). I gues they came up with this ordinance because there are many who find it easier to beg than to work for a living. Many even use (sometimes they borrow) little babies as props. Others pretend to be blind by wearing dark glasses. To make it short, there's a big chance that you'll be giving to someone who really does not deserve help as they are plainly lazy. This couple friend of ours, however, say "We don't mind if we've been hoodwinked. We've done our part to be generous and it's their lookout if they fooled us".
Another positive attitude is taking failures in stride. It's the attitude of trying and trying again and again till one succeeds.

That's just plain laziness, isn't it? Even if you did not say you have a positive attitude, I already knew you do by the way you express yourself in your discussions and also in your comments and responses.

I try too. Sometimes I compare my life to the life of Kings and Queens of ancient times. They use candles to light their castles at night while I use LED lamp lol.

Many people say, they like my positive outlook in life.That I have this aura that is contagiously positive and makes them feel relaxed when they're with me.

I believe I have positive attitude on the things happening to me. I always look to be better after the storm or disaster that may come my way. I don't just cry in one corner.

I think I am positive enough. At times, I do get a bit enveloped in negativity but I try to shrug off the negative thoughts and move on with greater vigor.

You have a great attitude. It's true that sometime we are enveloped in negativity but I like your attitude of shrugging it off and moving forward. As some would say : "It's not about how you fall or how many times you fall but how you rise up after."

@jstory07 well some are plain lazy and find begging a better option than hard work. Some are forced by gangs to work and beg for them, including small kids whose families are poor. Often cops ignore such beggars as they get their own "share" from the gangs.
Sometimes, some NGOs come and take such beggars but I have heard that many beggars come back from reform homes.
I have even heard about Post graduates and Phd. beggars and some who have got money enough for a plot through begging! - though such folks are rare, and they think of themselves as "Professional" beggars!

i try to have a positive outlook especially with the worldly goods and the coming and going of them. We were burgled three weeks ago while I was away at the coast, the Insurance will replace everything stolen however some of my precious jewellery from my grandmother was stolen - I am a little sad about that as they cannot be replaced and compensation value
