My husband still delights in telling stories about my first meatloaf. It turned out like a brick of cardboard. We turned it into hamburger gravy! I called my mom in tears and she told me how to mix the flour and water together before adding the chopped up meat brick. It was delicious.

OMIGOSH.....I tried to make steak and didn't really burn it, but it came out really tough. I was sooooo upset I threw it all out. My ex got mad at me!

Well I was making mac and cheese. I put the water turn it on high. When the baby started to cry. I got a bottle and started to feed him. Then I smelled it, oh NO. The pan was bone dry and smelled bad and smoken. Thank you for responding to my discussion. It was very helpful.

LOL, I've burned water before. I forget that I was boiling it. Poor pot...
I think the first thing that I ever burned was chicken. The funny thing is that it was burnt on the outside and still blood red on the inside. My boyfriend (now husband, he's didn't marry me for my cooking let me tell you...) accused me of trying to kill him. haha.
