Four rescue teams from Butler County near Benton Kansas to save a dog whose gender or breed was not mentioned. The dog was trapped standing on a rock while the creek was having some very strong currents that prevented the dog from being rescued by anyone who is not trained in executing water rescues. The incident took place near the Briar Lakes Estates housing development. It took fire crews, emergency medical service personnel and officials of the Augusta Department of Public Safety to use the proper equipment to resuce the dog and reunite the fog with his owner. How did the dog get trapped on a rock near a speedy in a pond is anyone's guess. I am sure that the owner of the dog is thankful to the rescue teams that the dog is safe and sound once again.

Glad he got rescued. Silly doggy getting himself into such a position. He is lucky there are good people out there.
