First, I want to make a BIG announcement. Yesterday, my friend Taylor Swift, came out of the Political Closet as a full-fledged Democrat and that has given me the courage to do the same. With these words, I am hereby out as a Proud, Loud, Liberal Democrat (Who wishes Bernie would form a brand new Party so I wouldn't have to be a Democrat but that's another story for another day).
Next, I want to remind you that I'm still an uptight Conservative Religious Nut. With Liberal leanings. At least for business purposes.
And as such, I am promoting a brand new product that everyone needs. It's called LORD. That stands for Like Our Real Diety and it's like Alexa, only for the Pious. I'm going to let my friend Betty explain it, cause it's late and I have better things to do. Amen. Peace Be With You. Vote Democrat (But don't tell the IRS I said that cause I do not want to lose my tax-exempt status!)!

@arthurchappell Those sorts of things happen in every war. You just have to ignore them so they don't ruin your enjoyment.

@xander6464 Yes, it would. Then you would need to worry about tax evasion, and all the back taxes you would be liable for. Nightmare.

I find it best not to use myLot as too much of a platform for your political leanings. It should be used for fun and friends and maybe some coffee money down the line. I know you are trying to make it funny- its just not as it still does not disguise its political push.

I have noticed that there aren't a lot of political posts on MyLot. But there are some and what's wrong with that? Politics are as much a part of life as fun and friends are and there have been few times in human history when politics have been this important so, sorry, I can't agree with your "No Politics" position.
