I post this yesterday morning.Then it was gone and they took it off? Not sure what they did.The discussion what is the most important item in your kitchen.I said Mike like to have a good pair of thongs and a sharp knives He take care of his knives better than his car What is your important item in your kitchen.Then it got zapped.really I am not talking about what you have in your kitchen. What is your favorite items in cooking.the must have cooking tools

For cooking its the stove, but the most important to me is the coffee pot. I probably could live on coffee.

I love my knives, but I need some newer better quality ones. They do the best job in all kinds of cooking for me.

I would say our most important kitchen items are the microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. Jay loves the pancake griddle, more than he does me! lol (just kidding, of course)

@amadeo the wok and ladle cause we do a lot of stir frying and Asian style cooking. The pressure cooker is also a main stay since it shortens boiling time and could give a texture and consistency that cannot be done by ordinary boiling.

Love and not screaming over what is going to be the next meal. That's my most important item. Then all the rest just fall together: butter knives to make pie pastry with, juicer to make peanut butter with, Foley food mill for mashed taters. Its all intertwined.

I like my big orange "le Creuset Dutch Oven", I can make all kinds of delicious meals in it. It was a wedding gift from a girl friend and after all those years, it is still okay.
