I thought it was possessed

I've been having problems with the mouse for my computer and today it really wasn't obeying commands. I was afraid I had somehow gotten a virus or something but I remembered I had an ancient mouse hidden away somewhere. So I dug it out, and things seem to be okay now. But boy, it feels huge compared to what I've been used to. I do have, however, the problem of 6 feet of cord to hide somewhere. (I only need 2')

Have you tried changing the battery of your cordless mouse?

It's not a cordless.

@LadyDuck I did blow it out a few times to keep it going when it first started acting up, but I think it's completely done in now. And there's no screws ...

@BarBaraPrz I had the same problem with mine, I opened it and cleaned, the dust was causing the problem.

use a bread tie on the cord, fold it nicely and then bound it.

I just shoved the excess behide the monitor for now. I'll have to buy a new mouse. This thing is so big, it's like trying to pilot a Costco cart in a mini mart. I keep bumping into everything on my desk.

The cord is always so annoying.

It is, but I prefer that to having to hunt down batteries for the cordless ones when they die.
