How many actors have you seen live on stage, where they have starred in a play or musical? Back when I was a teenager, my parents bought Season Tickets to a theater in Atlanta called "The Civic Center". I am not sure if it still exists. We saw plays and musicals. One musical starred "Ann Margaret", another one starred "Dick Van Dyke", and another one had that actor "George Peppard" in it. One of those , I think the one with George Peppard, that actor that costarred in Happy Days, "Donny Most" , costarred in that play. It was neat to see them. And another play I saw that meant a lot because it was such a long running play was "The King and I" starring "Yul Brynner". That was performed at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. It was Fall 1981 when I was age 17 when I saw that. That was such a good play. How many have you seen?

I have never seen live musicals, I have seen Sean Connery while they were shooting "Never say never again" in Monte-Carlo.

Wow, how lucky to see him! I have always had the biggest crush on Sean Connery. He is so handsome. I also thought he was the best James Bond.

My Mom and I always thought Richard Chamberlain was So Romantic in "The Thorn Birds" Miniseries. Have you seen that? He is so hot in it. Then later, I was so surprised when I learned he was Gay!

@LeaPea2417 Actually I have met some actors in person. They did a movie here in Israel and I was one of the extras and David Soul form Starksy and Hutch was in it. He was a jerk and Sir Laruence Olivier was also in it and he kept forgetting his lines so there were many takes.

The only one that I recall seeing live was The Rocky Horror Picture Show in London on the Kings Road. It starred Tim Curry and he was bigger than life. You sure have seen a lot of brilliant stars Anne!! I would have loved to see any of those plays and stars..really famous they are! The only other one I saw was Showboat and it was great but I do not recall who was in it the live play.

I remember a guy from my high school back in the early 80s who was obsessed with the Rocky Horror Picture Show movie. He had seen it so many times.

The only thing I’ve ever seen that would qualify is a taping of a TV show. I saw an episode of the Showtime series Brothers taped in L.A.

I don't think I've seen any real celebrities. The most famous was probably Prunella Scales in 'An Evening with Queen Victoria'.

I've only gone to one play type thing. And that was the OZ thing a few years ago. And i doubt it had real (famous) actors in it.
