I always appreciated people who speak many languages. I would be very happy if children could learn at least two languages at school and not wasting time with useless topics like religion

Given the importance of religion to many people in the world today, I do not think that studying it is a useless pursuit. By understanding what various religions teach, and how they influence the way people behave, we stand a better chance of preserving world peace and co-operation. There is, however, no place for giving religious instruction in schools. I agree that language learning is another way of bringing people together. There is a place for both languages and religious education in schools.
