A story to finish!

Friday is the day when I go to my writers' group in Hinckley. Every week we are set a challenge, and I make a point of always responding to the challenge and having something to contribute to the group.
This week we had to write a story entitled "Kidnapped". I have started my story - inspired by a line written or said by Woody Allen - but I haven't finished it yet.
So I need to get down to business - especially as we are having our chimney swept this morning and I am expecting to be interrupted!

Writer's groups are great. I still miss the one I went to. Every other writer but me was partially sighted. I also miss the kind of chimney and fireplace that needs sweeping. Your story will be a good one, I am sure. Hinckley is a bit far from Oxford or I would come and join you.
