Thrifting Thursday: DVD Haul from Socks.

Socks is the cat shelter in Fort Walton Beach and it was our last stop of the day. I didn't see anything that screamed to be taken home at any of the other thrift store shops so I didn't go into Socks expecting much.
However I found three DVDs, which I have never seen at a thrift store or anywhere else for that matter so I snatched them up.
I got My Fellow Americans starring Jack Lemmon , The Out of Towner's so starring Lemmon and Spies like Us starring Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd. The Out of Towner's is new and never been opened and i only paid $6.30 with tax for all three. So I didn't do too bad.

I went by the one I used to work for and did my donation for the holiday meals as well. $5 provides four Christmas meals for homeless..

@ScribbledAdNauseum The thrift store runs to support the mission. And I used to work at one of the other stores. Every fall they raise money for Christmas meals for the homeless. So I try to donate no matter what.

You did really well. You certainly lucked out on the DVD of the Out of Towners with Lemmon. The original is an awesome and funny movie. I also saw the remake with Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn and loved the original so much better.
