A true near miss this morning

God was watching out for me this morning. I was driving down a road I have driven on now quite a few times. It is a Country Road with homes and many farm type pasture lands. As, I drove along , in the blink of an eye, a rather big deer ran from one wooded side of the road across to a pasture land and he ran very quickly!
I am thinking it was 12 feet or a little more ahead of me. It happened so quick, that I never put my foot on the brake.
I was so shocked! If I had been a little quicker in speed, if I had been where it ran 10 or more seconds sooner, I would have hit it or it would have ran into the left side of my Van.
The whole thing was surreal.
I have thanked God many times since 9 o'clock this morning!

Wow. Those things kill people routinely running into the road and getting hit by cars. I am glad you are okay. I had two close calls today, but they were both with cars. Thank goodness for car horns. One would have just hurt my car while the other would have been bad.

I am glad you are ok. Some people really don't know how to drive right and should not be driving.

We have that happen a lot here. Often not that close but have ate a couple of them too.
