Asthma update

Today is day 2 of the "asthma situation". I used my nebulizer before getting into the shower this morning before work. That helped to open things up a bit. I was doing okay for the first couple of hours of work but then I felt the need for my inhaler. I went to use it and. . . it was empty! I guess I've been struggling more than I thought lately because the last time I checked it--it was half-full. Luckily, there were only 2 hours left in the day so I just did the best I could. I was supposed to do the grocery shopping on the way home, but I scrapped that. I did make sure to stop to get some tickets for the $1 billion Mega Millions drawing tonight though! That only took a minute. Then I came home and used a brand new inhaler. Phew. I'm feeling much better than I did yesterday but I will probably still do a nebulizer treatment tonight before I go to bed. I hate this change of seasons. It never does right by me. At least so far I've avoided a doctor's visit, prednisone, and an ER visit.
