I saw this image and just had to use it. It is so true. Home is not only where the heart is but also where your crazy family is. As I look back during the time when all of my girls were still living at home I just have to laugh. Not only did I have my own personal crazies but I had other people's nutty kids. It seemed that my home was always filled to the brim with kids of all ages. It was a happy, exciting, loving time for my girls and I. Kids just seem to gravitate to my home. I loved interacting with my daughters friends, some of whom are still in their lives. It is so much fun reminiscing with them all about the times when they were young. It has been my privilege to watch not only my own girls but others grow up into wonderful productive adults with kids of their own. I wouldn't trade that experience for the world. I may have been having problems in other parts of my life but my girls and their friends kept me straight.

My house was a gathering place for my kids and their friends too. We may not have had much when it came to money but we were blessed with love and joy. My kids and now the grandkids are a big part of my life and our crazy bunch still enjoy spending time together

I love it when a family is close. My girls and their friends are still friends after all these years and their friends are like my own children.

My thoughts about having a house full of my children's friends is that I know where they are, what they are doing, and who they are friends with.

It sounds like your house was a girl scout den. I'm glad there was a safe place for girls.
