My CPR Course

I am not a great story teller so Joe is helping me write this. It was too funny to not share. Last year I took a refresher CPR course that was held at a local fire station. I may never get to use it but it is good to know just in case. After basic instructions we were paired up to go into separate areas and practice as a team. Our subject was a CPR dummy that only had a head and torso. My partner, Jeff, was a very nice young man with a quick sense of humor. He reminded me of someone I am very close to. While I practiced the chest compression he monitored vital signs. He leaned over the dummy like he was listening for breath and then with a panicked expression told me, “He says he can not feel his legs.”

Haha. That is so funny. CPR must learn by everyone but I think most of the people dont bother to atleast learn the basic of it. Its a big help in times of emergency. Imagine saving a life.
