This is what I had for lunch today. Malvani Fish Thali is a popular dish in our area in Malvan, Maharashtra, India. What you see is Rice, Chapatis, fish fry, and fish curry. For foreigners, our food is spicy but we have a strong stomach.

I am interest in different type of food but I am vegetarian so I am not interested in fish. I am from Rajasthan, out food is also spicy and oily.

It is okay. I love vegetarian food too. We have a vegetarian substitute for fish and it is paneer, that is cottage cheese.

You must start with the less spicy Butter chicken and then try some vegan paneer(cottage cheese) dishes.
