Laundry and rain

Today the weather was really good, sunny and warm, it looked like Spring. As I was at home in the morning I decided to do some laundry as during the last days it has been raining and the clothes build up next to the watching machine. I always liked the smell of freshly washed clothes and hanging it in the sun. I love it when, after drying, it still smells like washing. Now I am at work and I noticed that there are some clouds in the sky and it looks like later it is going to rain, I hope my husband takes the clothes off the railing soon I have just read the news and it seems the weather will be pretty rainy and cold tomorrow. How is the weather in your place? Do you do your laundry only when it is sun or you dry it in the machine? I don't have a dry machine but when I need I use my mother's, even though there are clothes that I don't dry there even if it is raining and it takes more time to dry. Image: Pixabay

I love clothesline, it seems something silly but I like to see clothes hanged there.

We used to have a circular clothesline until it broke a few years ago and I never replaced it. I put the laundry on a clothes horse (yes, that is what it's called!), a kind of frame which folds and stands indoors, holding wet clothes to dry. Or tumble them in the machine.

I use our clothes dryer. We aren't allowed to hang our laundry outdoors in our community.

@nela13 I was surprised to find that out. Our town has an ordinance against it.

yes it depends on the weather, if the weather is hot I will dry it in the sun, but if there is no heat I will dry it in the drying machine

I will put clothes out to dry on a line during summertime. After drying them inside until almost done I like to finish them off outside..

I do laundry only without depending on the weather. as the weather is unpredictable. We have the place here to dry clothes on rainy days too. That's not a problem
