Will Sony be making a new portable game console?

I do have a collection of portable game systems. I still have my PSP, nintendo 2ds lite, Gameboy advance and what I'm still playing right now is my PSvita. Looking forward to get the Switch sometime after Christmas but I really prefer Sony consoles. I've been hearing rumors like PSvita is the last one and I have also confirmed that its going to die on Sept next year. It seems like Sony will be prioritizing their Smart Phones over game systems which saddens me. Do you think Sony will ever make a new one?
