I have the jam jars prepped and ready; the mulberries have been harvested. Now I have to set a date for the making of the homemade mulberry jam which will be Wedding Guest favours on the tables at my daughter's wedding. The labels have been designed in Powder Pink as the Jam reflects the lovely dark blue of the wedding theme. Silver, Dark Blue and Pink Confetti is made from hydrangea petals and will be boxed in lovely transparent cones. Have you ever had mulberry jam? Great to read some new posts on this cooling down Sunday. Our newly renovated swimming pool is almost full of water so I believe swimming might be on my agenda tomorrow. Yippee.

Nice theme, I like silver and pink and dark blue pair well with those two colours. I had mulberry ice cream in Napoli, I cannot remember mulberry jam.

@Inlemay I am sure it will look good. I am planning Christmas decorations in light blue, white and silver this year.

What a wonderful idea to give home-made jam as wedding favours and mulberry jam is just the best!

we always do a homemade favour for our weddings. (the family weddings) My niece had nartjie marmalade and my other daughter had cured pitted olives, my son had honey coated pecan nuts - My own one was ordinary Fruitcake to put under one's pillow and have the sweetest dreams

@Inlemay We were given an olive tree seedling at one wedding. I thought that was a lovely idea too.

You've been busy, and it sounds like the wedding is coming together. No, I've never had mulberry jam. I hope you were able to swim.

one doesn't find it in the stores at all, it would have to be obtained from a homemade supplier
