HAPPY BIRTHDAY Micky Mouse
90 years ago today marks the first appearance of Mickey Mouse in a Walt Disney cartoon which helped to launch Walt Disney career back in the early days of movies when a cartoon would be shown before the movie. I don't even think Walt knew that this little mouse would later go on and bring enjoyment with other cartoon characters and then theme parks that would bring joy to several generations even now.
Many of us can date ourselves from the 50s and early 60s watching the Mickey Mouse club and probably an even today sing those lyrics if you hear Mickey Mouse mentioned.
So Happy Birthday Mickey
Glad to still see you around. (Wonder if they are going to show a clip of the first cartoon on the special tonight?

Disney was always the highlight of my week. I always watched the Mickey Mouse Club, and yes, I could sing those lyrics, though I don't know all the Mouseketeers anymore.

As a child l liked to draw the pictures of Mickey mouse which was my favourite one. But now no time for drawing. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICKEY. Now you are becoming too old but still have the energy to continue on Disney channel.
