Today I received a gift from a good friend

I have a friend that I have known online for over 10 years...and she's sent me gifts for birthdays & Christmas for most of those years. I send her gifts when I can, mostly it's a card or an art piece. We've never met in person, but hopefully one day we will.
Anyways, the package I received today from her was a birthday gift for me and my son Eli (his birthday is on the 19th). She got me a very nice card (and sent a little $ on top of the other gifts). She also sent a pretty necklace and shirt.
For Eli she sent some clothes (of course he said, "oh clothes" ) but I really appreciate that she sent him some clothes. She also sent him some watercolor paints, a coloring book, and a few small toys.
We are really blessed to have a friend like her...and I do hope we get to meet one day. She's like another grandma to Eli the way she spoils him.
Do you have a friend like this in your life? How would you repay them for their kindness?

It is nice to have a thoughtful and caring friend. Even if you don't know each other in person. I had a freind before also on line that I havent met. and I feel so secure letting er know what is inside my heart and my problems. because she cant judge me from my past and just advise me or enlighten me from what she knows sinc ewe met online.

Yes it is very nice....and I am glad you had a friend like that and could confide in them. I feel closer to this friend that I haven't met in person more than some of the friends I had in person before.

I'm inclined to agree with one of the other comments. Kindness isn't something that can be repaid. Show your appreciation as much as you can.i hope you get to meet someday soon.

I agree, and I do really appreciate it and I let her know that...and I make her art, or something like that to give if I am not able to buy her anything.
