Missing My Daddy

It seems just like yesterday that my daddy was on my front porch, celebrating Halloween with us. Just last year, he had made it out of the hospital, determined to get better and live life. This year, he was not with us. Some days, I think I will be ok and others, I don't know how to go on without him. Cherish you parents if you still have them. It really does leave a void when they are gone. Don't let other things take priority over family. picture: my dad and second daughter last October.

When our parents go, it leaves huge holes in our hearts. So sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. I loss my Dad 18 years ago and my mom four and a half years ago. I still think about them and miss them every day of life. It is such a difficult loss. You never get over it, you just learn to cope day to day.

That is so sad. My mother was 104 when she passed away but it still seemed like it was too soon for her to leave us.
