i messed up in my work today... / myLot

I accidentally deleted data in Production database few hours ago... I thought I was working on my Local copy of the database, I wanted to copy Production data to my Local so I execute a Delete... It was too late when I found out that the Delete command was executed in the Production database... I'm currently in a Panic Mode... Data still not restored... I'm trying to contact someone who can give me the Back-up copy of the database... It's currently in the middle of business hours and users are definitely going to use the data... What am I going to do? How am I going to justify what just happened?

If you have an IT manager, they should be able to restore the lost data, or you could try to undelete the information. For an explaination, I find that the truth works.

thanks! :) requested a copy of back-up file, its 769MB, still downloading... users are complaining, have to explain that due to some unexpected circumstance, data was deleted...
