Always Look Back and Other Things We Can Always Do For Our Security

I am actually like that I always look back from where I have just been.
It prevents me from forgetting something , specially before going out at food outlets. So, whatever I forgot, I will see and get it immediately.
I don’t ever lay my mobile phone on the table while I eat at restaurants with many people specially on fast foods outlet It’s always inside my bag when I am not using it. I might forget it or someone would stealthily get it when they pass by, as is in the news always.
I don’t also put my bag on another vacant chair. I put it on my lap. That way, it is safe from those scrupulous persons who gets a person’s bag while one of her/his companion does something for the person to be distracted so the other one can get the bag and hurry away.
And when I line up in public places, I put my shoulder bag in my front body while one hand is on it.
I also always look behind my back, as to who is behind me specially when I am walking on the roadside. I am just making sure that the person won’t snatch my bag.
These things happen here as are always in the news, so I do those things specially when I am alone. I also told my daughter to do these always.
Can you relate with me?

I never lay anything anywhere when I'm in a public place, it's always attached to my person.

that was my mistake... when I lost my phone. I forgot my phone on the bench because I took a picture on a sunset and then I fall asleep.... then I forgot. lol gooodbye cp. but then it is a good habit also, I usually do that, but I really was so sleepy during that time.

@Mavic123456 You mean there are no malls. And on mountains you can sleep without getting worried that uour bag could be taken by somebody.
Really, you slept on the airport. Well, when you see that there are security guards and cameras, you can relax.

@SIMPLYD here, public is not public, it's on top of the mountain... so nice to meditate and watch the sunset. Overlooking the town, big Buddha on top of the mountain and beach... and yeah I fell asleep.
Hey girl, I slept in the airport for several times already. hahaha here and in Russia

I'm not quite that careful. I set my bag in the empty chair on the inside closest to the wall or window. My cell phone is always in my purse (if I have it with me). Usually, my phone is at home. If someone took my phone, they wouldn't get anything from it except phone numbers.

Good thing, your bag isn't snatched at public places when you put them in a place like that.
Here, there are lots of scrupulous people working in groups, one to distract the bag owner and the other gets the bag immediate;y once the owner's eyes are on the distraction.
My phone has a lot of reminders and some notes and even passwords but no data as to password for what. So, I don't just lay it on a table when in public places.

I always have the strap on my leg if I'm in a restaurant.

@sunrisefan I think the barangay captain should do something about the security of all residences and its residents.

I can relate well with this. We all need to be security conscious anywhere we are.
