Is there a scientific time when you stop calling them kitten or puppy and call them a cat or dog? Does it depend on age or weight or looks?
Or is it just human preference or owner preference.
Does a cat get offended when called a kitten and says "I'm grown up now. Don't call me a baby!"
Random thoughts on a Saturday morning for you to ponder and respond!!

@pitstop That's why it's also crucial to have the animal spayed or neutered at that age because they can and do start having babies.
