@nawala123 This mostly occurs with young hens that have just began to lay. Because their systems haven't fully matured yet

me too a bif fan of egg, if I don't know the taste of the place yet I usually order omellete.. safe food for taste.

No double yolks here. not yet anyway. From what I've read we aren't likely to find them in the US as they're considered "imperfect"

@nawala123 I'm sure some slip through every once in awhile. Double yolk eggs stand out from the single yolk eggs though. Hopefully they don't just toss them and instead ship them off to less picky eaters

I also love eggs. Yes I got double egg yolk and very happy. I prepared omelette with that and shared among the family.

For years my husband brought home eggs from the local hatchery (where he was employed). I was disappointed if there were t several double yolk eggs in each dozen he brought me.
