That must be my longest title ever.
I don't want to forget to thank every veteran who took the oath and gave themselves for this great and wonderful country we live in. I know it isn't only the men and women who served, but their families as well who watched their sons, husbands, and daughters leave for unknown shores and hope they would return.
Thank you for giving yourself to this country. I'm proud to know you and I'm proud to stand among you as one who served.
Please let me know which branch of service you served or your sons, daughters, or husbands served in.
Thank you for reading. I was in the Navy.

Living in a Navy town and along a hundred mile strip along the coast line where there are several Navy bases, Air Force Coast Guard bases and Marines who do flight training here there are many I know who served and are serving. My dad was inthe army during the latter part of WW2 after they wouldn't let him joined right after the attack on Pearl Harbor as they needed his occupation in the civian sector til later in the war
