Oshane Williams was at the right place at the right time today when he came home from a long shift working at Targer in Bronx New York to his apartment when he noticed that his neighbor's apartment was on fire. Williams admitted that he acted on instinct to save the six persons who were trapped inside the burning apartment when Ricardo McDonald who must have had a death wish allegedly threw scalding oil on his five relatives before he used a couch to block the front door. Williams was able to put aside his fear of getting burned by rescuing Ricardo's grandmother, followed by Ricardo's daughter and granddaughter, his son and his mother by grabbing them out of the fire that could have ended their lives. McDonald attempted to stay inside his burning apartment by locking himself inside his apartment when Williams was able to grab McDonald and holding him until the police arrived to take him to a mental health hospital to be evaluated. McDonald's relatives were taken to a local hospital with serious burns. The New York Police are filing charges against McDonald for his attempt to rub out his relatives in what could have been a murder by suicide attempt.

Another nut job. Our world is full of them and so glad Williams was able to come to the rescue.

That is true that person does not care who he hurts with his actions of burning down his own apartment.

It's amazing how someone can act without regard for their own life when others are in desperate need of help. God Bless that man for his heroism!

That what I have noticed of people who risk their lives to rescue others. They claim that the fear factor leaves them for that short period of time.
