... our Internet connection went off.
So what I did was play candy crush in my 2 phones . I expected the net to be back at once but until I went to bed at 10PM we still didn't have it.
This morning I immediately checked on my phone;we are connected but there is no net. When my siblings went to the city, they dropped by the office and my sister was once again given a reference number. What I did when I was alone was, I did the grades of my students. Time was spent wisely.
It is 2:02pm; no net yet including the landline's dialtone so I am making this discussion on my phone. Hope the Internet will be back now.
Therfore once I have posted this, we already have the net.
(And it is back this morning. 13 November 2018)

I am also having trouble with my Globe internet.. =(
I am not sure if they are fixing something in preparation of the coming of the third telco...

i think Globe and PLDT should improve their services now because another one is 'coming to town'.

@ridingbet We had one day without Internet last year if I remember well, it was due from the passage to the Fiber Optic from copper cable.

@LadyDuck the phone company wants all subscribers to shift from copper to fiber optic. they are forcing others to do so. for us, we stick to the copper thingy because we do not have business online but just here at home.

the net came back yesterday because they had to fix the 'box' at Robinson's supermall. so, now, we have the net but no dial tone yet
my sister goes there every now and then. even our hospital here has no dialtone since september 4 yet

ours is PLDT myDSL, they are convincing us to change to fiber-which i do not fully understand. hahaha

@ilocosboy yes they say fiber-optic is faster, but the cost is also expensive. we 3 cannot pay more than what we have as 3 members of the household.
