My New Grandchild is OK after a Rough Start

Hi! I haven't been on myLot much recently. One week ago today, my newest grandchild was born. She arrived 11 days early. Baby A had a rough start! She was not breathing well at all when she came into the world. She was almost purple! She had to have emergency intervention and was put on oxygen. Little one had to be in the NICU for 4 days. She was taken off oxygen on day three, but was still being monitored by her doctor for another day. My son and his partner were fairly traumatized by the unexpected problems. We all were really! We're so grateful the our beautiful baby girl is home and doing fine now.
