Fog and tires

Wow on the fog this morning. Luckily the roads were not too slippery. I got to the motel where I do water aerobics. A man came up to me and told me that my right front car tire was flat. I said: huh? Those tires are not two months old. Flat. Just flat.
After water aerobics, I gimped out of the parking lot and bummed some air from a oil change shop cause I had to drive up a hill to get to the local Walmart.
So I spent time in Walmart that I wasn't planning on. They said they took the tire off, resealed it and found nothing wrong. Nada.
I looked at the display of magazines in their waiting room: OH. Guns and Ammo magazine front and center. An AR-15 proudly displayed on its cover. Made me ill. All I could think of was dead kids. I put the magazine on top of their garbage can.
No problem at driving home. I guess I'd better keep an eye on the tires. They did not charge me. They would have heard from me if they had tried to get more money from me. Still pea soup skies out though its just above freezing so tonight's commute should be fine.

Fog is not in our forecast.
We have a wind warning tonight and a weather advisory for Friday.
Today the temperature plunged as the winds picked up. Friday's nastiness is coming up the US coast to inundate us wit rain, ice pellets and snow....not to forget....more wind.

@Morleyhunt You live in quite a climate. You're in the frozen north!

@sallypup it may be the frozen north, but you are still at a higher latitude than me....even though I'm farther north at our new home.

We had our first foggy morning of the season just a couple of days ago, and boy was it thick. It caught me by surprise driving to work at 4:30 in the morning because I wasn't aware we were going to have foggy conditions. Good thing there are not too many people on the roads that early in the morning. I couldn't see 5 feet in front of me.

@moffittjc I'm guessing that you don't have to deal with freezing fog. Stay safe.

@sallypup Nope, we don't have to deal with freezing fog. It's very rare that we ever have to deal with anything that has the word freeze in it! haha

Sometimes a tire just will not seal right. They can lose their seal when it turns cold too.
