I think this is the main purpose of my Facebook account for now: it is to post birthday greetings of my friends, family members, former students, colleagues, and classmates from high school and college, and I am enjoying it. I search for pictures in my albums and edit them, and post them in my timeline with my birthday greetings. I made 3 greetings for 2 classmates and 1 colleague, and these posts are gaining likes and comments but directed to the birthday celebrators. I don’t respond because the posts are for them. I communicate though through the messenger chat. That is where I interact with our clinical coordinator and colleagues in the closed group, and my family as well. I share some posts from the social medium too, of which they receive some likes.

Facebook is a good way to get reminded of your loved one's birthday and to wish them and make them feel special on their special day. I still prefer to give a personal call to my loved ones on their special day.

I'm basically on Facebook to wish friends and family birthday greetings. When I have the time, I'd rather be here.
