hi friend
today is a very bright day that happens here,
today is the time to go to the supermarket to take my mom shopping
after I arrived at the supermarket I saw food made from cassava which was fermented too
the people here call it "TAPE SINGKONG " this food is very sweet,
strangely this cassava is without sugar or sweetener but it tastes really sweet,
ingredients to make this food are very simple and easy,
first we prepare the cassava which has been peeled and cleaned,
then we boil the cassava until it's cooked, after it's cooked, remove and drain the cassava until it's cool,
then mix cassava with yeast, after mixing the wrap and cover tightly, allow 2 to 4 days,
during this fermentation process cassava should not be open for up to 4 days ...
after 4 days the fermentation process is complete and ready to eat,
it feels really sweet and tender ,, you can try making it yourself, maybe in a place you already have this food ...
but what is the name of this food in your place?

We do not normally have cassava available here. Maybe in some special Asian stores, but I have never been to one. It sounds as if the yeast converts the starch in cassava into a type of sugar. I have heard and read that fermented foods are very healthy for you.

Wow, I didn't know that you can ferment cassava. I love it just boiled then before you eat you dip it in pork lard with salt and it's so delicious.
I bet that one is delicious too.

We have something that is called "Cassava Cake". I think a lot of sugar, milk and cheese was mixed with the cassava to make it as sweet as it could be.

Fermented too? Like the banana? Really healthy food you have there. More probiotics.
