dry cleaner's

There is a dry cleaner's nearby my home but I hardly go there. I don't have clothes that need to have dry clean. If I have such kind of clothes, perhaps I will wash it by hand carefully since it charges high in the dry cleaner's and I am not sure whether my clothes will be cleaned well.

When we were both working we had clothes that occasionally needed dry-cleaning but it rarely happens now.

I think I will not buy clothes like that because it costs much to dry clean them.

@youless I try to stick to clothes that are easy to launder too.

I wash most of my clothing at home, I only bring to the dry cleaner some jackets of my husbands, you cannot wash them manually.

@youless There is a coat that I wash at home, but surely not the men suits of my husband, those are not cheap stuff.

Only for expensive coats and suits that I have very little use for nowonly on special occasions, the children need it more for their balls, debuts and school dances.

@youless we dry clean expensive suites that water, soap, scrubbing and tumbling can destroy, deform, fade or shrink.

I only did it once a long time ago. I do the dry cleaning at home. They make dryer sheets that you "clean" your dry clean clothes at home.

I still prefer to use the water to wash clothes. I know some clothes may need to have the dry clean but somewhat I think it can't wash well anyway.

I'm not sure about that.   I prefer to wash my own clothes at home

I cannot tell you the last time I have patronized a dry cleaner. If I can't throw it into the washing machine I generally do not wear it.
