NaNoWriMo - Day 18

Yesterday was a long day on myLot. I'm not complaining. I read a lot of great posts and interacted with some I haven't seen in a while. Time was limited, and I didn't think I would get a lot of writing done, but I did. Here are yesterday's numbers. Total book word count: 145,418. Daily word count - 2123. NaNoWriMo 18-day total - 40,018. I got the 40K word badge. Just under 10K to go now to finish. I should also finish New Horizons in the next couple of days if I don't finish it today, which is a distinct possibility. I didn't make it to the pool this morning. I went to bed last night with a bad sore throat and the beginning of a cold. Woke up with it too, though at the moment, everything feels good. I need to go to the store for a little bit of food for Thanksgiving and orange juice to kick this cold to the curb. I did get two days worth of notifications done this morning, so the next time you see me I'll be working on November 15. I've also broken away from 400 notifications. Now I have 300+ to the finish line. As I said yesterday, I don't expect to be caught up before the first of December. I got a little surprise this morning when I looked out the window. It's snowing. Not hard, you can barely see it, but the ground is turning white. At least the sidewalks are. It will take a lot more snow to turn the green grass white. That's what's happening here this morning.
