There are quite a lot of delicious food in Italy. Of course the pizza is one of the most famous Italian food, but actually there are a lot of nice bread come from Italy, too. Tonight I made Focaccia which is a kind of Italian bread. It is easy and simple but I like it. I think it will be great to eat it with corn soup

Well, it looks good, but this is a Chinese focaccia, not an Italian one.

The one in the photo is an Italian focaccia.

I followed the Italian focaccia recipe to make it. Perhaps I shall add the herbs on it and it will look more like Italian style? And of course I shall ask my husband to cut it into square shape

@LadyDuck It seems I did it like you said. I use the olive oil but it seems the oil is gone after this bread is done. I found one difference, I wonder there is no sesame for this bread when I looked at your attached photo carefully?

@youless I do not know which recipe you followed, there are many wrong recipes online. This looks like a nice sesame bread. There is oil in the focaccia dough and you have to brush it with oils before putting in the oven, make the indent with your finger and add coarse sea salt in each indent.

It looks very nice indeed. I haven't tasted bread in Italy but I love the different breads you can buy in France.
