What is the only thing that I think Vegas would have? It is the Mob Museum that is located in an old courthouse downtown. I mean someone, somewhere just had to honor the Mob. This museum looks at the history of organized crime from to viewpoints the one of the gangster and the one of the cop.
You can find some fascinating artifacts here like the diamond-studded golf marker of Moe Dalitz. For those of you who don’t know him, Dalitz was one of the major figures who shaped Vegas in the 20th century earning him the nickname Mr. Las Vegas. Some of you might remember the classic comedy “Some Like It Hot” which had Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon hiding out from the mob dressed as women after they witnessed the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. Well, this massacre really did happen and here at the museum, you can see a bullet-ridden slab of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre wall all the way from Chicago, Illinois where this mob hit occurred.
A fascinating thing here is that the museum lets visitors in on the action. You can choose to play a mobster and shoot a fake Tommy gun or take the side of the law and have a Use of Force training experience. The Underground is a basement speakeasy and distillery where you can see moonshine being distilled and beer brewed.
Who wants to visit this place with me?

I went to Las Vegas a couple of years ago. I didn't know about this museum. If I ever I get to go to Las Vegas again, I will want to see this museum.

Most people only know about the casinos and the attractions right in the city of Las Vegas but it is interesting to explore further @JESSY3236
