Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your many blessings, see what God has done

Do some of you USA myLotters remember that little song? It really is a good reminder to remember all the blessings God has given us. Valerie J. Routhieaux @just4him had a wonderful post where she named thirty things to be thankful for. All I can add is: DITTO! I won't list all of them again, but I am especially thankful for the salvation I received from God through faith in the death and resurrection of his son Jesus Christ. I'm thankful every day for my husband, children, and grandkids. For good health at my age, plenty of food to eat, all I need, and pretty much all I want. We're having our Thanksgiving dinner today with our son and grandson. I've cooked a big meal, although not a turkey (roast beef), and certainly not the feast we usually have at Christmas. So it will be just the four of us, but nonetheless, much to praise and thank God for. Hope you have a wonderful holiday, whichever part of the world you're in.
