What does this mean to me? To all of us? Its hope. Its about not giving up on the trials and problems that comes our way while we are living in this world. Failures are for those who do not strive, who do not fight, who accept they cannot win. We are not like those who had given up their chances, their life, their destiny. We are not like the branches who given in the winds. We are like this, a plant in the brick wall. Who is determined to fight to live. To inspire evrrybody. To shine the love to those who love it. Its the will to survived and never surrender to the drought of life. We have so many things in this world just to give up. PS: I took the photo in the brick wall of one of the ancient cemetery found in the Laguna province of my country. It just meaningful one.

I think it is more of adaptation, that fern survived not just because it knows how to fight but because it knows how to adapt, good one, hope people learn from this.

@ilocosboy we have a balite tree in our backyard, at first it started to grow on our wall, after years and it was now bigger it detached itself now the roots are on the ground. Yes, when you cannot reach the ground to eat, develope air roots and trap the dirt, if people are like these, they will prosper

I believe its also adaptation. I have seen also small balite clinging to the bricks of churches and old buildings.

We can learn from balite, indeed. It don't depend to people water its roots, the tree dont just wait to wither and die, it search for itself.

Yes, that wall is so meaningful because of the plant that wildly grew in between the bricks. Indeed, if the plant can thrive on two bricks, why can't we also make our solutions to whatever problem we may be experiencing. When all else fails, there' s God waiting for us to call for his help.

God wants all persons to help but there are some unable to help but the ones who are able should at least make the attempts to help others. Why aren't they helping? It appears as though they may want the support but are unwilling to support. Indeed!

I remember from Mother Theresa, if you can't help 100 people at least you can help one person.

I love this picture and the meaning you had given. No matter what happens we can grow at any phase in our lives and everything teaches us something good.

I like how you wrote this post, but life is not always the same for everyone, it brings a lot of bad things to someone's life and man at some point is tired, but that does not mean surrender.

That is what I saw in the photo, the most important thing is to never give up.
