A Very Happy Ending Story

Out of a tragic episode comes out a wonderful story ending.
I am always looking to read "feel good stories" which is not easy to find
these days.
There is so much misery all over the world, fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, too many wars here and there. Too many people shot for drug reasons or jealousy.
But this morning I finally found a beautiful story ending in the midst of a terrible
fire in California.
I will leave you with the link to the video so you can witness this beautiful ending.
A California woman says her home 'served its purpose' after learning that her garage helped save lives during the deadly wildfire in Paradise, California.

I saw and read that article! Nice to see a good news story in the midst of all the negative crap we see! I wish our various news media outlets would do a better job of balancing their news story. For example, for every negative story, balance it with a positive story.

@marlina Well, we only have ourselves to blame...we're the ones that buy the newspapers and tune in to the TV news stations. Ratings always skyrocket for media companies when the news is at its worst.

It is nice to have a feel-good story especially at this time of the year.

It is so sad how things are out there. I have a FB friend that I originally met here years ago. She and her mother and her birds evacuated and are living with family. Her father who is 100 was in a nursing home. She said the nurses literally carried the residents out one by one and the police came and hauled them to safety. Yes, I am glad for any good story that comes from this awful mess.

@Tampa_girl7, So do I, I just wish there were more stories like this. Instead of murders, shooting, fraud, etc.

That's awesome. Have you read all the "Chicken Soup" books? They are great for pick me ups.

I read that story before and it's truly worth reading. I hope many more get a blessing from it.
