ADD shock / myLot

So last week my son got diagnosed with ADD and/ADHD. We still need to get the official diagnosis from Dr but after the OT evaluation it indicated to either one. I had ADD and I know how tough it is on the child. I had a very string suspicion, but its good to know for sure. I would really appreciate any advice. My son already feels like the stupid one in class. I don't won't his self esteem yo be any more affected.

I'm sorry that your son feels that way. =( My son has Asperger's but he knows he's so loved and he has a Heavenly Father that made him super unique. I have always tried to see it in a positive light and shared that with my son as well. I hope you can find a way to put a positive spin on it for your son also. :)

I sorry to hear about your son. But its true, God makes each child in his own unique way, and they should know that. I always try and tell him how much we love him and that all that matters too me is that he tries his best.
