I recently purchased a casing for my iPad that has a Bluetooth keyboard attached to it and now my iPad is like a laptop, albeit a mini laptop. I just love it. In fact, I’m now typing on this Bluetooth keyboard. It’s so much less cumbersome than using a real laptop. I highly recommend this casing. Above are images of the casing that I bought.

Yes, it does. But the ipad has quite extensive battery juice so I normally charge my ipad every other day. Since using this bluetooth keyboard yesterday, I haven’t needed to charge my ipad yet.

@Sojourn Not that I’m aware of. A separate keyboard can be quite cumbersome. Having a keyboard with the casing makes it easier to bring the ipad around.

@UmiNoor Isn't there any pluggable keyboard for it?

Yes it is and it’s not as heavy as a laptop and I can even lie down in bed to type and read.

I would prefer the full size keyboard. That works much better for me. I have been typing since 12 so very familiar with regular keyboard.

@UmiNoor It just doesn't work for me. I need a full size and normal spacing. Been using this size for 48 years so no changing now.

@kareng Yeah I guess it depends on one’s preferences. This keyboard is probably just suitable for just typing and surfing the Internet. Not definitely suitable for gaming.

Well, this keyboard is like a regular keyboard only maybe a little smaller but the size of each keys is like a normal keyboard.

@UmiNoor I only write short messages on my iPad. I prefer to write from my laptop where I have a real keyboard, because it is much faster.

@Porcospino I have a laptop but I usually have to power it up before I can use it and that takes some time. My iPad is always turned on so whenever I need to surf the Internet, I will just use my iPad. The iPad is so much lighter than the laptop. Of course, there are some things that can only be done on the laptop.

So true. Typing on a keyboard is so much easier than using the on-screen keyboard. At least, now I can use both hands to type and it will be much faster.

I do highly recommend this casing with a Bluetooth keyboard. You can replace your laptop with your iPad. But of course, there are some things that can only be done with a laptop.

@resukill22 It didn’t cost that much. In my currency, it cost me MYR70 which is the equivalent to about USD16. I found this at one of the cheapest Internet shopping site called Shoppee. I think it’s available in your country?

I feel nervous if my gadgets don’t have a casing. They need protection because my grandson whose living with me aren’t as careful as I wish he would be with these gadgets.

I used to have a separate Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad but it’s a bit cumbersome to be carrying a separate keyboard. With this casing, it’s much more convenient.

I feel that using the iPad to surf the Internet is less cumbersome than using the laptop. My iPad is always on whereas the laptop is powered up only when I need to use it. Now with this casing, I don’t need to use my laptop to participate in myLot.
