Oh the good old Philippines are so good.
Singing, we are naturally born singers:
When a young man court a young lady he must have guitar and sing outside the house, we call it harana.
During rice planting season, while the villagers are planting the rice there are one or two people singing at the paddy.
And of course is when you are riding carriage or karomata pulled by cow and carabao and someone is singing at the back.
As the previous tagline said, "only in the Philippines."
Guitar and ukulele are the usual accompaniment during these party and of course the songs are folk songs or country songs.
This tradition is gone like the harana but thanks goodness to some travel destinations who offer the window of the past. The heritage resorts and hotels are just so nostalgia minded people who think of this sryle.
And its nice to return to the past.

I think those are lovely traditions. It's a pity they are dying out.

@ilocosboy That's a great shame that they have virtually disappeared.

Such a nice experience, you are traversing the uncemented path and that duo is singing great.
