Well my love of nice jewelry isn't dead!

I was on the "Lot" the other day and there was an ad from one of the jewelry places that handles pearls. I love pearls anyway so I cruised into their store. There was a pair of earrings I was curious about. They were round pearls with red stones in them. I wasn't sure if they were real rubies or fakes and I wanted to know. Well one look at the price tag confirmed that the rubies were real...so was the pearls and the gold setting. If they had been under $40 I would have considered them....but my great taste had kicked in, would you believe they were just under $4,000? Yep, Toni's wonderful taste is back. I saw a pearl necklace on their site too, it was only just under $25,000! So much for buying that out of my fun money!!!

Wish I had the money to go with the good taste....except that I wouldn't spend the money on fantastic jewelry when there are people starving in the United States....

Even if I had the money to afford that kind of jewelry I wouldn't spend it on fantastic jewelry...between the hungry homeless in the U.S. and the abused and homeless animals that money would make a heck of a difference!
