This weather is something else

So yesterday the weather warmed up to the 60s and felt great. We were out and about like we always are at the first of the month and my phone went off saying under a tornado watch. So I kept an eye on the radar, we were at a friend's house and the wind started blowing hard and rain was going sideways but it didn't last long and later that night I heard from a friend and her town got hit with a big ol tornado. She is fine and so is her family but some of the people in that town lost their homes. So tornadoes yesterday and snow tomorrow. Picture of tornado from yesterday.

Yes it is, I can't believe that we are having tornadoes in December. I mean we do live in tornado allie but don't have them this late in the year.

@MommyOfEli2013 yeah it can and last year we had snow covering the ground on Easter so bring on this weather in ready lol.

@hillhjill Well, I guess anything is possible. Just like here, sometimes we get snow in May, one year I think it even happened in June. Weather can be crazy!

I don't look at the weather history much, I just think it's strange to have tornados rip through Illionis in December.

@hillhjill I don't think it's all that uncommon. We just forget about the times it has happened or threatened to happen in the past.
