A new member of Congress tells how healthcare is much more affordable for members of Congress than the public!

I have been saying the same thing for years! Members of Congress enjoy excellent healthcare benefits. However, some members of Congress don't want the American Public to have affordable healthcare like #MedicareforAll. Healthcare and Insurance executives are using their companies resources and their lobbyists to try to scare the public about #MedicareforAll because they would lose billions and billions of dollars if the plan was enacted. Fortunately, there is growing bipartisan support for #MedicareforAll by members of Congress. Let your rep's in Congress know that the American Public wants affordable Healthcare. Also, tell them to pass a current bill, the PRESCRIPTION DRUG PRICE RELIEF ACT as soon as possible!

Yes, there certainly seem to be double standards at work here.
However, a far better system would be to follow the European model and make all health care free at the point of use and fund it from general taxation. The money you pay would then go to the providers of care and not into the pockets of insurance companies and their shareholders.
