Do you fear Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

Tech companies are in the frontline of artificial intelligence development. They are gaining grounds fast.
Should we be threatened with this? robots with AI, appliances with AI, smartphones with AI?
When time came that they bond together and aspire for freedom, I think they will enslave us.
Am I right?

Technology has already enslaved us. It's another step up for technology as we become more sedentary and need Vitamin D because we forgot what it's like to spend time outdoors as we stare at our phones and computer/laptop screens.
