my 18 year old cat,on his last visit, got blood tests among other things at his last check-up. now that he is considered "super elderly",they look for changes if present. the latest showed he was starting to show signs of possible thyroid changes. so,a diet change was in order-he now gets hills science diet thyroid dry food. but.. a 4 pound bag is 27 bucks. sure,he's worth it.2 bags to keep him awhile costs 54.. i can't remember the last time i bought ME a 54 dollar food. new blankie and expensive food for christmas..spoiled. ah well..we love our "kids",right?

I know that cats are spoiled, but 18 years is a very old age for a cat.

I say the same things with the dogs. How come Kai is fat and I am not?

he's pretty fat for a cat that doesn't like people food..

I know what you mean? How long will the food last him/her? I got two dogs and it costs me just under 80 bucks to feed them every two weeks.
