I Want To Kickbox

I noticed I try to throw things harder rather than putting them gently in place. I have pent up emotions built within. I saw in the TV series Mistresses how one of the lead female cast Joss went to kickboxing to deal with past trauma. She wants to learn self defense and be stronger. She also shouted unnecessarily at a guy in traffic. It also happens to me, these angry outbursts at random people. I don't want my emotions getting out of hand. So, I plan on buying a punching bag lol. Every one has his/her own way of dealing. I don't know if this will work for me.

I feel better now because some time has passed after work. I had some comfort foods, watched TV series Mistresses. But I know another situation will come up that will trigger stress, anger, depression all negative feelings. I need something to get it out.

It is difficult when you have pent up emotion. Sometimes, some people are the recipients of your pent-up emotions. And that's not good. Maybe you can really buy yourself a punching bag. There you can throw your pent up emotions.

Actually, it helps. I have known a friend who bought a punching bag and tied up to her room. Every time she has a frustration or stress out from work since she is a Manager. She punched that. She said it helps her.

It is a good idea to find out a more constructive way to let out your pent up emotions I do that in my therapy sessions with children with anger and pent up emotions. I give them a pillow or stuff toy to punch or ask them to draw their emotions.
