Food: Nature's Gift

It is a blessing that God has given us varied resources of food we eat every day. Imagine that we only have to eat meat from animals; we will be having a lot of health problems more than we are having right now according to some researches. We will be also fed up with the same thing we have on our table right every after meal. Nature has been providing us a lot of food supplies that we need to sustain, nourish and keep us alive and healthy. Because of those resources, people have become more and more creative in making different dishes available for us to consume. With this kind of blessing, we should be doing our part in taking care of these blessings from God and Nature. I consider those people who are living in the farm quite luckier than those living in the cities because they have the opportunity to grow more plants like fruits and vegetables. Most foods that the city people consumed are already processed and contained chemicals that pose danger to human health.

city people can raise their food in containers they also do roof top gardens. Sometimes it just takes a little creativity.

So far, at least in our country, food is absolutely multiply plentiful. In Vegas alone hundreds of millions of pounds of wasted food from buffets is tossed into the garbage. No one will go hungry any time soon that's for sure.

I live in farm country. I don't live on a farm but there are so many around me that I can shop at farmer's markets in the summer for fresh organic vegetables. You're right about processed foods and chemicals in food. I'm very careful about what I eat. Although I always wonder if food is organic but processed, like organic frozen dinners, are they still as bad for you as regular non-organic frozen dinners that have been processed.

There are really a lot of chemicals which are mixed in our food nowadays. You are right that we should be careful in what we eat.

Most farmers use chemicals. It's a myth that they only produce healthy stuff.

In order to get a good harvest, farmers have to use some chemicals.

I agree with you that the people living in the farms are advantaged since they eat the food they grew themselves and know what they put in their bodies.... where else those of us who live in the cities are disadvantage since we eat mostly processed foods that contains chemicals that causes health problems.

Me and my boyfriend eat the same foods a lot because he is one of them people that don’t like to try new things very often. I on the other hand do.
